Italy's Argar Technology, which specialises in research and development of protective knitted fabrics, has developed Tes-firESD-HV, a new range of protective knitted fabrics featuring intrinsic flame retardant, antistatic, arc flash protection functional specification, now with the addition of High Visibility property.
The company has also joined the voluntary system TF-Traceability & Fashion, obtaining the Certificate of Conformity for its protective knitted fabrics for technical and safety workwear, in several production lines and certifications.
Transparency
The system was developed by the Italian Chambers of Commerce in cooperation with Centro Tessile e Cotoniero in Busto Arsizio. It enables the final customer to verify where the raw materials come from and to check the transparency of the whole production chain.
The system allows consumers to choose and purchase a product safely, knowing exactly how it has been made, find out about the origin of raw materials and the localization of the production steps, as stated on the label.
Extreme protection
The antistatic, FR, and arc flash protection with High Visibility features of Tes-firESD-HV Knitted Fabrics fully comply with the specifications of EN1149, EN11612, EN61482, EN20471 and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class II Certifications rules.
The protection functions are guaranteed by intrinsic properties of fabrics, manufactured and ennobled in Italy, the company reports.
Tes-firESD-HV Knitted Fabrics are designed to offer a great protection performance. © Argar Technology where necessary, either in case of intrinsic risks originated by work environment or for protection against particularly uncomfortable climatic and environmental conditions, with addition of High Visibility function.
